Anita Erskine, MCM, is a globally acclaimed Media and Strategic Communications leader with over two decades of experience in shaping conversations that drive Africa’s development and global relevance. As Executive Director of Erskine Global Communications, she combines the power of storytelling with strategic influence to deliver compelling narratives that amplify Africa’s voice across the world’s most respected platforms. Her work spans television content development, high-level moderation, communications strategy, and executive leadership training.
Anita has hosted and moderated over 700 high-level events globally—commanding stages at summits convened by the United Nations, African Union, World Bank Group, AfCFTA, ECOWAS, and various national governments. She has led dialogues in the presence of Presidents, Ministers, Ambassadors, and C-suite leaders, across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Her moderation style—defined by clarity, precision, and presence—makes her a trusted force in guiding conversations on climate action, digital innovation, women’s leadership, youth employment, entrepreneurship, and global policy.
Her commitment to impact goes beyond the stage. Anita is the creator of several transformative initiatives, including Anita Erskine’s Sheroes, a globally syndicated talk show with over 15 million viewers; The Leadership Voice, a masterclass and fellowship empowering African leaders to speak with impact; and The STEM Woman Project, which inspires young African girls to pursue careers in STEM. She also champions educational equity and gender inclusion through The Women’s Elevation Fund and Brand Woman Africa.
In recognition of her expertise and global influence, Anita serves on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, is an Advisor to the Digital With Purpose Movement (GeSI), and a Juror for the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (International Emmy Awards).
She holds a Master’s in Communications Management from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from Trent University in Canada.
